We will admit a carer free of charge when a guest with disabilities purchases a full price adult or child ticket.
One of the following must be presented upon arrival in order to qualify for a free carer ticket:
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- Attendance Allowance
- Access Card or DID Card
- Blue Badge (photo ID section)
Documentation should be dated within the last 24 months, documentation dated later than this may be rejected. Documentation may be printed or may be shown on mobile phones alongside physical photo IDs.
If more than one carer is required to accompany a guest with disabilities, a signed headed letter from a GP must be presented, detailing the required number of carers, alongside photo ID.
For carers who work within a professional capacity, we will accept a signed headed letter from the manager of the care home/company, when accompanying paying residents/clients, alongside photo ID. We will not accept staff ID on its own.
The above documentation will also be requested at the Wristband Office if a carer is required to accompany guests with disabilities, who have purchased an adult or child wristband for rides within the Adventure Theme Park.
